The Value Chain (VC) Analysis of the fruits and berries sector in Southern Serbia represents a comprehensive overview and in depth analysis of the VC linkages, resulting in the categorization of a number of issues and finding, as well as specific and general recommendations for the the Fruits & Berries Program. The VC Analysis covers 8 specific product areas reviewed using the available statistics and studies and further supplemented and strengthened by research data. Field research data was collected through a series of interviews with primary producers/collectors and most of the important processing capacities in Southern Serbia and on the field research. All conclusions, recommendations and proposed actions in this document are a result of the field interview data combined with the conclusions made during focus group discussions.
